The holiday happens during Holy Week and is considered as a part of Paschal Triduum on Friday that comes before Easter Sunday. Good Friday is observed during Holy Week as part of the Paschal Triduum on the Friday preceding Easter Sunday and may coincide with the Jewish observance of Passover.
